12 weeks of Workouts
How do I do this and still be able to see friends and live life? I hated the vegetable soup. Early last year, my friend Ann lost 30 pounds with Weight Watchers, her story was compelling. She put it on as soon as it was delivered and went on her way to work. You have your own Medifast support group going on there!

I finished out the day with a trip to the local Safeway in order to pick up some different produce, proteins, and dairy. My add-ins should be more interesting now. I also did a free-weight routine with my husband for 30 minutes. It should also be mentioned that I already feel better, meaning, lighter and less bloated. Day 1 began and I was totally pumped to start. My eyes were on the prizes — pounds, confidence in a bathing suit, size 4, less jiggling, healthy, fit body… Yes. I will get there. This was one of the higher rated items on the Nutrisystem menu, and so I decided to start strong. It was bigger than I thought. The flavor was pretty good, like a soft prepackaged chocolate chip cookie. The consistency was chewy, but not in a great way. It definitely had some fiber.
I will be partaking again. I had some lettuce lying around that was going to go bad, so I thought it was perfect timing to try out this meal. This is a meal that works out perfect with the add-ins. It was really very delicious. I felt the meal was filling because I got to use as much lettuce as I wanted.
Wish I had ordered more than one of these! It was saltier than I expected. There was a lot more sauce than food, like many pre-made meals. Wow, this was surprisingly delicious. It was rich, moist, and my goodness, satisfying. With a side of peppermint tea, I had no complaints whatsoever about my dessert. As for exercise, I got on my elliptical and ripped it up for 30 minutes.
So, there ends the first day. Not bad… not bad at all. Tagged with chicken caesar , chocolate chip scone , diet , dieting , fudge brownie , nutrisystem , nutrisystem reviews , vegetable lasagna , weight loss. The only thing you currently cannot customize is the frozen foods.
My ready to go meals non-frozen arrived 3 days after ordering them in a giant, 32 pound box. I actually had a great time sorting them and putting them away. I decided to start the next day. I had no issues with delivery. The package came with a daily tracker and all of the info you will need to follow the plan.
So as you can see, there is a fair amount of add-ins happening. You will need to hit the store for the dairy and produce. Nutrisystem will tell you exactly what add-ins are appropriate for every category, and exactly how much you should be eating of that add-in.
I thought at first that this seemed like a lot of food, until I realized that their definition of a serving is very small, even with vegetables. Some examples of serving sizes are 2 oz of baby carrots, 4 brussel sprouts, and 6 asparagus stalks. The protein or dairy sizes are a little larger, for example, one hard boiled egg or 8 oz. Yes, you need to eat everything they say.
With the add-ins, you will be consuming calories a day. This is for a woman who has under pounds to lose. This is a no-brainer for diet veterans, but I felt it did need to be said, as it greatly aids in your calorie deficit. The greater your daily calorie deficit, the greater your weight loss.

At 5 feet 1 inch, pounds was too close to obesity for comfort. With a new husband, children on the horizon, and hypertension looming, I decided it was time to get my bum into shape. From April to July, I had amazing success in dropping weight simply by counting calories and exercising. I had just 12 pounds to go to get to my goal weight a healthy, but not emaciated, pounds.
Surely, with how quickly I had lost the first 28, I would be at goal by the end of the year! That was plenty of time; so easy! This was not the case.
Those last pounds, like so many people report, proved to be a nightmare. I never lost a pound more, though I kept trying until December. After another round of holiday eating, I was back up to Some hard calorie counting in January got me back down to But once again, I was stuck. It was incredibly frustrating to be doing all the work with no results.
However, when I hit 1 year this month, and had never reached my goal, I made the decision to try something new. I researched several programs, but in the end decided to try Nutrisystem. The main draw for me was that, after a year of measuring, weighing and counting, I just wanted to diet without thinking.
I also worked out that I would not be spending that much more than I normally did on groceries. I decided to try Nutrisystem for 1 month 5 weeks, due to 1 week of free food.
My hope, though lofty, is to get under that dreaded that I could never quite reach on my own. However, before a started, I had a lot of questions.
Would the food be good? Would I feel full? How do I do this and still be able to see friends and live life? Am I going to be miserable? I got what you came for. My strength has gone through the roof and my wife keeps commenting on the changes to my shoulders, chest, and back.
This is a great program and I recommend it for beginners and intermediates. I can tell you this: I am seeing some insane results after only five weeks.
I started as a complete gym beginner with a very low amount of muscle. I currently lift way more than day 1 and my body is starting to look absolutely ripped. I have to thank you Steve, this workout is absolutely legit. I got bigger and a lot stronger. Didn't think I'd last a week, lol.
